Well, they managed to earn money. But the cartoon - so-so. Only Chloe's cat is still chic. I would marry her. But without family obligations.

But something in this cartoon I especially did not like. The boy rabbit, who wore a superhero costume and the whole cartoon tried to show himself to be a cool hero, was delighted with the pink dress and curls. And I don’t understand why this short moment could not be simply cut off and not shown with us? Moreover, he is at the very end. Everyone understands what kind of propaganda this is ...

The Secret Life Of Pets 2 Review

Already familiar to us on the first part terrier Max (Patton Oswalt - instead of retired because of allegations of sexual harassment Louis C.K.) and Newfoundland Duke (Eric Stonestreet) and live with a girl Katie (Ellie Kemper). However, Katie meets a nice guy, marries him, and a couple takes and gives birth to a child - these are them, people, scoundrels. The baby at first constantly harasses the unfortunate Max, but from the moment the child speaks, Max suddenly realized, the child loves him and Duke, so that the happiness of the whole family became cloudless.

However, then another attack began. Max suddenly began to notice what dangers await the child in our cruel world, began to protect him from everything, became nervous and irritable - as a result Katie took Max to the veterinarian and that on the face put a plastic cone, so that he concentrated only on what is in front of him.

In the summer, Katie and her husband, child and dogs went to the farm. There Max will meet the inhabitants of the farm: bad sheep, sarcastic cows and melancholic pigs. However, with the hysterical turkey Max did not find understanding, but the dog from the obsessive bird saved the local patriarch - a huge sheepdog Cowboy (Harrison Ford). Cowboy then began teaching Max to cope with his own fears.

***

As you know, the first cartoon "The Secret Life of Pets" was created at the studio Illumination Entertainment, which gave the world the franchise "Despicable Me" with Gru and very cool minions, a feature film "Minions" and quite a cute cartoon "Beast".

The first cartoon "The Secret Life..." not distinguished by an outstanding scenario and quite clearly built on the lectures of the classic "Toy Story", but instead of toys there were pets of different levels of character development. For example, the main character Max was, let's be honest, no, his duet with Duke before Woody with Baz - as before the moon, and kept the cartoon mainly at the expense of secondary characters: the beauty-spitz Gidget, the cynical cat Chloe and the absolutely posh gangster rabbit Snow. Plus, all this was amusingly drawn, and under certain cons of the script the audience still told quite a whole ("whole," for some reason corrected the cat Bublik) story.

The picture with a budget of $75 million earned under $900 million, showing an absolutely incredible KKU as much as 12 (from 3 - the picture paid off), so it was clear that we are waiting for new adventures of pets.

To the sequel of three screenwriters remained only one - Brian Lynch. Without the past two accomplices Lynch, apparently, did not dare to use another plot of the classic cartoon, so did not find anything better than to spin in one picture at once three, almost unrelated to each other plot.

With the story of "there's a little baby in the family who gets pets," Lynch managed to grind in exactly seven and a half minutes. During this time, the child grew up to three or four years, learned to speak, told Max, "I love you" - and then Max terribly fell in love with the child and began to worry about him - so that he needed the help of a veterinarian-psychoanalyst.

Okay. Then the whole family went to the farm, where Max teaches life-wise old mentors, and we here will not remember "Cars" because the analogy is very indirect. But for a long time to teach the life of Max Cowboy could not, because two more storylines were laid.

The second line - Spitz Gidget (Jenny Slate), which Max left to save his favorite toy - a rubber bee-worker. Why did Max give the bee Gidget and leave it in his completely empty apartment, where the bee was not threatened? Of course, for The Bee Fly Out of the Window and get into the apartment to the grandmother-cat, from there Gidget the bee had to be rescued from a gang of rabid cats with a risk to life. Well, the cherry on the bee - after Max's return, he never remembered the bee, so all the heroism Ofget passed somehow side, as well as love.

The third story - dog Daisy (Tiffany Haddish) turns for help to the rabbit Snow. Well, more precisely, to his alter ego - a terribly combative snowball in a superhero costume. By the grace of the screenwriter, Snowball completely forgot that he in the past cartoon was a real super-fighting rabbit, so now there is nothing cool in it and in the mention, and he only builds a hero in his stupid suit. At the same time, all the problems are solved by Daisy herself, which is really cool.

What are their problems?

All three lines as such - sucked out of the finger, very stretched and do not carry evenly any intrigue. Ah, Max is worried about the child, and the wise Cowboy will teach him not to be afraid. Ah, Gidget lost Max's toy - horror, horror, you have to immediately risk your life and save her, immediately! Ah, it is urgent to save the white tiger, which, generally speaking, is not clear where to put - he any house will carry in a moment, a wild animal.

That's why the script here is a complete flaw. However, the old funny characters here are still good: first of all a gorgeous cat Chloe, Spitz Gidget, pug Mel, Daisy, and Snowball, who lost all his fighting fervor, nevertheless was also cool.

Occasionally in some places slipped really good chuckles (especially the conversation of the cow with Duke, the wake of Chloe the hostess and where Chloe teaches Gidget to behave like a cat), and because of this cartoon, probably, you could even see, although absolutely not necessary - the first film, in my opinion, much more solid and interesting.

However, despite all these claims with Bublik, the sequel worldwide has swept more than successfully - $407 million in fees with a budget of $80 million, although the rating on IMDB has quite average. Well, then, waiting for the prequel: Max marries Gidget, they will give birth to the Spitz Terrier Bootsy, who will be in terrible danger from some bully cat Pretzel. Will Max be able to save his son, will his son understand what real male friendship is? This question is terribly worrying viewers.

I, in the general did not like, I would not waste time on it. But he watched with the younger Exler - he said that he loved it. However, there at the very end of the cartoon, Snowball pushed the rap, and if someone pushes the rap, the younger Exler can not like by definition.

"Panda Panda Panda!" - raping Snowball is really the best scene of the film! Some are very good, some are just good, but in a single story it all fits badly. However, I did not regret that I looked with the children, I was funny, the children in general are delighted with the 😄

Accurate review, however Alex themes and the best film critic in the UK-speaking space, as opposed to most engaged by gloss. The cartoon is weak and this is a alas trend of the last three years for all multi-studios. Technical perfection and surprisingly predictable plot moves. In turn, I will gladly recommend the romantic comedy "Heartbreaker" with Jean Dujardin and, by all means, a very dashing series "Righteous Gemstones" with the incredibly burning Danny McBride, perhaps a brilliant comic actor. When you review "The End of the World 2013: The Apocalypse in Hollywood" you can see how he easily outplays all his colleagues on the shop floor at once, including even Seth Rogen.

If not already (did not find a review on the site), I would like to advise to see the chic full-length "Shaun the Sheep: The Movie" of 2015 from the same studio, as well as a very funny series about shaun a sheep. In a couple of months, by the way, the sequel to "Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon" is due out.

I watched both the movie and the show. The film is cute, the series is generally excellent. And that's why I didn't write the review - I don't know, to be honest.

The first "Secret Life" did not differ in eye cut somehow. I suppose it's better to have "first (life)" or "first (cartoon) "Secret Life."

it feels like it was planned to make a line with the tiger main (i.e. sort of everyone else on this line is winding down in the end), but something went wrong. my son (5 years liked it) - as much as twice looked, I was bored. REP - cool! 😄

Alex, look at the cartoon "Spider-Man: Through the Universes" !!! I'm serious. Looked with his wife on Friday and both are delighted. The best cartoon supos, yes there-even most comic book movies compared to it look dull. The drawing, of course, is unique. Before watching, I was afraid that it would be repulsive, but no- everything is very tasteful, beautiful and stylish. The plot is in some places rustic, everything is easy to predict, but that's not the point! Good dialogues, good humor, great action. The younger Exler will like 100%.

That's just the younger Exler he probably will not come from the word "totally." Strange not in a bad way, but in the sense that it is not for everyone and not quite cartoon in the usual sense for children. Something's not right. That is, it seems that you understand the idea, it seems to be interestingly done - but still - not ours.

It's still a series, though powerful. I still remember some places involuntarily. For the pleasure of watching it will not.
